I found this site while researching RJ Foley boots as mentioned below; They are, or were, in Maine and their boots are handmade; I have a pair listed on ebay right now, seller ID arizona109; Several other boots listed as well, but there seems to be very little information about RJ Foley on the net;

Thanks for the wonderful info; It's help me navigate the world of vintage cowboy boots right into my own closet! Iv'e just dusted off my 1982 Justin boots and they are now having their throats stretched for another decade of use; Keep up the great work, we appriciate your efforts out here in boot land!

I have the pleasure of owning 2 pairs of custom western boots; A man called Thad Huseby of Huseby Custom Boots in Idaho built them for me personally when I was there on vacation; They are without doubt the best things I own, Hes on the internet somewhere, and so he cant be to hard to find

My fav's are a pair of RJ Foley's i bought on ebay for $5;00; the picture was horrible that's probably why nobody else bid on them, i took the chance and said what the heck on $5;00! they are beautiful two tone brown with exceptional unique overlay designs are in mint condition and fit me like a glove; i think i got the deal of a lifetime on these boots but can't seem to find any info on RJ Foley; are these custom do you think? can you still buy RJ Foley's and where? would LOVE, love, love another pair! BTW, i live in KS and run across vintage CHEAP boots all the time at auctions, estate sales and garage sales, people around here have no idea what they got! i list them on ebay all the time, check out my sales under my name "rollergirlisme" sometime if you are lookin' for some kick butt boots at a cheap price! i just sold some exquisite Larry Mahan's for $50;00!

My favorites are a pair of Stewart's custom made (narrow made to order) horse bought from Parker's Westen Wear in Reno almost 20 years ago; The story on Stewart is they were a couple of older Italian guys who had a little deal going in Tuscon;
