Traditionally, it has been held the last weekend of September,in Brownwood, TX. In 2002, the show will be moving to Wichita Falls, Texas and will be held October 5th and 6th. The swapmeet will be Friday, October 4, 2002. You can e-mail Kathy or Eddie Kimmel, or phone them at (915)356-3197, for more information. No, it really isn't. The Round-Up is basically a trade show. Bootmakers go each year to talk to vendors and other bootmakers, or maybe try and color match leather for an unually order...things like that. Nobody brings a measuring tape, or photos of their work. If you're interested in ordering boots, or seeing samples of a bootmaker's work, the best way is to visit their website, or make an appointment to stop by the shop.
