I was very happy with the bootmaking instruction I got at Tex Robin's shop, and I recommend the course highly. Tex Robin has been making boots for more than 40 years. He is a practical man, and not at all stuck in his ways. He once told me that he'd "change over to plastic pegs if they worked any better". Tex has invented many of his own tools and techinques over the years -- and freely shares them with his students. He takes one student at a time...I got all the help and attention I needed to complete my boots.
