Of course it would make sense to look for a really BIG pair-o-cowboy-boots in Texas. These giant cowboy boots welcome shoppers to North Star Mall in San Antonio.
Included among the Lonestar State's "unusual claims to fame" is a cemetery monument sittin' in Paris, Texas. The carved statue depicts Jesus in cowboy boots, and it's become one of the city's most visited tourist attractions.
The Hat 'n' Boots gas station, along U.S. 99 near Seattle, has seen better times, but it sounds like folks care enough about the buildings that they'll probably be moved someplace. Rumor has it that if you want to use the hat as a skateboard ramp, ya oughta do it on a Sunday or holiday when the neighbors are less likely to call the police.
Among the "Big Things in Alberta," there's a four story high cowboy boot at the west end of Edmonton, in Alberta (...that would be in Canada).
