These are some very special Slickfork boots. They're my boots, my very first custom pair! (...a generous gift from Brent McCaslin.) Now it's been awhile since I visited Brent, and I guess he got tired of waitin' on me to place that order I promised him. Brent says he's a man who likes to repay favors...and these boots are a "thank you" for the work I put into my web page, and the time I've spent helping out bootmakers. Brent picked the design and the colors, and he couldn't have done a better job...I love 'em. They're a bit biographical...I spend alot of my time running my two dogs in a meadow up over the hills. One of my critters is a cowdog mutt. She doesn't herd up cows exactly, just kinda stirs them around a bit...it's funny how all cows look a little like longhorns when their runnin' straight at ya.
