Back
To get back to a page of my website that you just visited, simply click "Back" on your web browser navigation bar (the menu bar at the very top of your screen). To go back to a page before that, click "Back" again, and again...get it?

Buttons
The words running up and down the lefthand side of the page (like "Gallery", "Sole-Searchin', and "Features") are buttons. (Do ya see 'em?!) Click on the buttons with yer mouse and they'll take you to different parts of this cowboy boot web site.

Links
If I provide a link to another person's page I usually have your web browser open up a new window and place the page in it...then you can close the "extra" window when you're done & you'll be back at my page, right where ya started.

Your Location
You can tell which part of my website you are reading by looking for a small star next to the button, or sometimes the section title appears as a reminder in the upper left corner of the page.

Messages at the bottom of your screen
Some of you have web browsers that lets me put text on the bottom status bar of your window...look here and I'll give ya a fore-warning kinda message about where you'll end up if you click on a button or a link. If you don't see the messages, choose "view status bar" from your browser's "view" menu or preferences.

Seeing your posts
If you post a message to the bulletin board or add an entry to the guestbook, you'll want to to refresh or reload the page. Just click on the "Refresh" or "Reload" button near the top of your screen, and you'll see the "new and improved page". (With some browsers, you may need to hold down the "Shift" key on your keyboard at the same time.)

Stuff that looks goofy...
Often when you design web pages they end up looking different on different types of computers, or on different web browsers...I may not know that there is a problem. You should feel free to e-mail me if I've made a bad choice of font color or style.

Underlined Text
Some text on my page shows up as a different color & underlined...these are links to other parts of my web site, and sometimes to other folks' web sites...click on them if it's something you're interested in. Once you visit a link the link will then show up on my page in a different color. This helps you keep track of the places you've already visited.
