Just look for flowing inlay, fancy stitching and the Nashville tour buses parked out front of the shop. It doesn’t matter who’s wearing them Bo Riddle’s cowboy boots always take center stage.

Bo Riddle has skipped the Ozarks. I placed a order about a year ago. I talked with Bo in Rogersville, MO in April and when I went to visit him in August ’06 his shop was closed and no one knew where he was.
Bo is currently making boots in Henrietta Texas at the Olsen-Stelzer boot factory.
I ordered a pair of boots from him in October. Is he going to honor orders partially paid for? Does anyone know how to contact him?
I just tried to contact Bo at the Montana Boot Warehouse in Henrietta, TX and he could not be reached there. Any idea where he is at now?
We also ordered boots from Bo last December. We stopped to check on the boots today (they were to be fitted in October and complete in December). We also discovered he was gone…..we have been told he is in Springfield working for Springfield Leater. We have not contacted them yet but plan to do so by the end of the week.
If you get a phone number for Bo, could you e-mail it to me at Tarintella@aol.com .. In case you didn’t know, Bo is a really amazing songwriter, and we worked together on a lot of music projects before we lost touch.
I am looking for Bo, too. Don’t worry, he doesn’t owe me $ or boots or anything! I’d like him to make a pair for me, if he doesn’t already have the ones I want. tinagee
I called the 1-800 number for Springfield Leather Co. The gentleman I spoke to said that Bo Riddle is working with them and he will be in tomorrow morning. I left a message for him to call me for status on my boots. If he doesn’t call tomorrow. I’ll try to make sure to re-post.
Great! I’ll give him a call tomorrow. I wonder if Bo knows that he has a whole herd of anonymous internet users looking for him? LOL.
Bo is a great guy, got a bit behind, with the cards others dealt to him…but i know he is the type to honor all of his committments.
Well……we’re not so sure he is going to honor his committment!!! We have talked to him face-to-face three times since he started working at Springfield Leather. He says he does not have the equipment to make the boots nor the money to give us a return for the boots we ordered in December 2005. I say he’s not to be trusted!!!!!
Well does any one know what happened to his equipment or what caused his misfortune?
I am not really sure what happened to him, but that sounds very unusual for Bo to let a customer down. I’m sure that he will make it right eventually!
I have known Bo all my life! I know his word is good. He is behind right now, but, by God’s grace, he will catch up. He has several orders for boots and other items he needs to make, but I saw him just a week ago and he was finishing a beautiful piece of art work boots—they’ve been ordered a while, but they’re just about done now and he’ll be on the the next order. Also, he is getting some equipment back together and will soon have his shop set up in full. Don’t loose hope! I have not heard of him not making something that was ordered….he just gets “a lot on his plate” now and then. I guess if you could make boots as good as him, you would have oodles of people wanting them, too!!
Like others we placed an order for a pair of mules when Bo was at Silver Dollar City, that was the fall of 2005. WE have talked with him several times, he has promised to send our deposit back several times. Of course I would rather have the mules but now 2 years later we have no hope of getting either one. Bo is not an honorable man , for those of you that think he is perhaps you should think again….Shame on you sir, you have taken advantage of many others as well. Yes, you do have a God given talent but I’m sure God would not approve of your business ethics.
I met Mr. Bo Riddle Many years ago, I know he has a honest soul. I watched him take his last cash out of his pocket and give it to a homeless man. The man gave Bo a small tarnished brass buckle, his only earthly treasure. No one else saw this, so I know it was done with a sincere heart. Be still, pray daily, listen to your heart, live your dream!
AS BRENDA MEYERS SAID, MY SISTER ALSO ORDERED A PAIR OF SHOES FROM MR. RIDDLE AND GAVE HIM A DEPOSIT. THEN WE NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN. NOW MY SISTER HAS DIED AND DOESN’T NEED HER SHOES. I WOULD CERTAINLY LIKE HER DEPOSIT BACK.
EVEN IF MR. RIDDLE CANNOT HONOR HIS WORD AND COMPLETE THE ORDERS THAT HE TOOK, IT IS GOOD BUSINESS SENSE TO CONTACT HIS CUSTOMERS AND LET THEM KNOW THAT HE IS HAVING PROBLEMS. THIS SAVES A LOT OF HARD FEELINGS AND POTENTIAL LAW SUITS FOR BREACH OF PROMISE AND TAKING MONEY UNDER FALSE PRETENSES.
SO WHOEVER IS IN CONTACT W/ MR.RIDDLE PLEASE TELL HIM TO CONTACT HIS CUSTOMERS AND APOLOGIZE. ALICE FELDEN, STOVER, MO
he is a very sad person….more like a cheat in the night. He steals your boots and never even sends them back. what a crook.
in an article posted by this lady, bo said his first wife, didn’t do something, thing is, that was his second wife.
Bo is married to his third wife now…..
I am a customer of Bo Riddle’s. I noticed that a lot of folks said they can’t find him. If they google him they would find his official website which has an email on it. DUH! I was like Brenda above and at Silver Dollar City I ordered a pair of mules for my wife. I didn’t hear from Mr. Riddle for quite some time then one day, not too long ago, the mules showed up in the mail with a letter apologizing for them being so long in the making and telling me not to send the rest of the money I owed him. He said he had many other pairs of boots and mules to get caught up on. Apparently his trip to Texas with Montana boots didn’t turn out in his favor, but Montana still offers his line of boots.
Some of you folks might start thinking that others can have tragic things happen in their lives too. Why don’t you wait and find out what happened in Mr. Riddle’s life before you pass judgment on him, which is God’s job.
I’ve known Bo for over 40 years, I also knew his folks and granny Riddle. I don’t know what
has been wrong, but I know that if he is able at all one day he’ll make any wrong right.
bo is working his ass of at springfield leather trying to get cought up & money ahead to get all of his machines fixed & replaced, i see him every other day or 2…he will get there soon enough
Does anyone know where to find Ben Hilton? (Bo’s bootmaking buddy) aka: Nobody Hilton, Floyd Hilton, etc, etc, to many aliases to list
How funny it is, after reading the prior postings. I think of the old saying that birds of a feather flock together…
Ben Hilton has flown the coop in Henrietta, TX; and the above mentioned stories sound very familiar. I just think it is funny that these idiots think that they can actually just move over a state or two and think everyone is going to forget. Henrietta was a perfect target for Hilton, a town of trusting souls, i think he may reconsider his selection of targets one day.
I thought I had a friend in Ben Hilton. We visited quite often and I listened to him complain about his troubles with Olsen Stelzer and how, after opening his own shop here in Henrietta, everyone was taking advantage of him. He said people were always in such a hurry to get their boots, so when I ordered my wife a pair of shoes for Christmas, I told him to take all the time he needed. What did I get in return? He left town the week before Christmas with my money. We never saw the shoes. I would sure like to know where he is.
A lot of people want to know where Ben Hilton is.
I heard all his talk about how Olsen Stelzer stuck him with a bunch of orders but never paid him. About how they screwed him over. But after seeing how he's treated folks in and around Henrietta, I wonder if he was the one doing the screwing to Olsen Stelzer.
Maybe this is where Ben Hilton or Floyd Hilton is??

I remember helping my cousin design her mules while we were on vacation in MO years ago. She still has yet to see them. I hope and pray that Bo does get on his feet and take care of this. Bo, take an hour or so and reach out to your customers who have been waiting for years. It's the right thing to do.
I would like to comment on the conversation about Bo. I know him very well and his is a great person. He is honest and trustworthy. It is easy to find his information online. He does work at Springfield Leather Co. You should contact him!
I met Bo years ago when he asked if I could play that fiddle I was holding near the Bluebird Cafe. I said some people think I can. Next thing I was at his shop playing music with Bo. He asked if I could play music with him that night. I asked where . He said the Bluebird because he was the featured artist. I played Fiddle for him all night.

He stole my mother’s handmade boots that he was to repair and did not. I want them back Bo diddle He is a crook
I have known Bo for 30 years. There is no way Bo Riddle would steal, cheat or deceive unless there were extreme circumstances beyond his control. He is just not that kind of man. Bo is a very loving, sincere and yes, GULLIBLE person that is very capable of falling for some sob story or as I like to say, \he brings home too many puppies\. I suspect outside circumstances are prevelent in his troubles and I assure all, Bo does not intend to cause ANYONE undue concern. If he had the means, he would make this all right and I bet he would even make ‘extra’ for each and every one of you. I know time is critical for each of you, but please give him just a bit more time. Sooner or later he is going to work out of this and you will be blessed to own a pair of his boots. I know this man. He is honest and sincere. He just can’t dig out of this problem in a short time.
keep running, they can’t find me either!
