I talked to James this morning at SouthWest Airlines's customer service number. He informed me that the world's a different place now, and I need to talk with the Transportation Safety Administration to get my x-ray photo. TSA's website is just getting started, but I did find a toll free number. I'm hoping a brand new bureau-crazy might be easier to navigate, just 'cuz maybe they haven't hired enough people yet to keep "forwarding my request" very far. I'm thinking I ought to ask for a "press pass"...stay tuned. (Oh yeah...when I was on the phone with SouthWest, all their on-hold music was music about being lonely....waiting and waiting for an answer about love...lonliness and futility. SouthWest may skimp on the snacks, but they've got plenty of irony.)
